I was born as Lee Samantha Nicol but re-named Lisa Sarah Skinner. I spent over five decades struggling with feelings of disconnection and an unshakable sense of grief. Through the pain of being separated from my birth mother and the silence surrounding adoption, I embarked on a personal quest for answers which lead me to uncover the truth behind my beginnings.

My powerful narrative delves into the challenges of growing up as an adopted child, the longing to understand my roots, and the emotional toll of living with a hidden truth.
